Best exit poll finding of the night, per Marc Ambinder:
Who's to blame for the economy? Bankers (34%), Bush (29%), Obama (24%). Of those who blame bankers, Republicans hold an 11 point advantage.
Hilarious. And more evidence that the biggest political paradox of the election is that Republicans have seized the mantle of economic populism.

Unfortunately (although this apparently will make TNR happy), Alan Grayson has lost. He was one of the few politicians (either D or R) who went after the banksters in any significant way. Read about his most recent letter to Sec Geithner here: http://www.philstockworld.com/2010/11/02/alan-grayson-demands-capital-buffer-at-tbtfs-to-absorb-title-insurance-liabilities-asks-for-new-stress-test/

Why is this result dissonant? Because Obama fought the banks? Are you serious? Geithner? Summers? Really? I'd happily vote for Sharron Angle JUST to stick it to those f*cks. In fact, I DID vote for her, for just that reason.

Sounds like #42 in a list of bad reasons to vote for Sharron Angle. But you never know -- if I turn on C-Span one day and find her pushing for stronger regulation of the financial sector, I'll be happy to apologize.

Reid doesn't deserve to be a Senator when your state has an unemployment rate of 15%+ I really still cannot believe that he has any chance of winning

1:30 a.m. ET -- looks like Reid won and Sestak didn't make it in PA. Grrrrrr!

Yes, we are going to come down on Wall Street by voting for Boner's babies. Of course. Much as it chagrined me to support it, the bank bailout was necessary, til. Your sentiment is just self-centered rage and your vote was preposterous.

"I'd happily vote for Sharron Angle JUST to stick it to those f*cks. In fact, I DID vote for her, for just that reason." Great strategy, doofus.

It occurs to me that the Republicans don't want to accept the blame for the mess they precipitated with their bad policy, especially since no one held a gun to Wall Street's collective head and told them to get retarded with peoples' money. And, Democrats don't really like to bother with midterm elections, so I would say that the poll is just simply in line with the logistics, and not indicative of Republican messaging skilz.
