It seemed sort of obvious in 2008 that Huckabee was the only Republican with a serious shot at beating Obama, and nothing* about Huckabee has changed, so I'm inclined to agree with the PPP analysis. *Nothing, that is, concerning his chances in a November election. He has, however, probably become much less likely to win the nomination by dint of his underwhelming TV career and the chances of being Willie Hortoned in the primaries this time around.
