Allen West, proving once again that Republicans do too have a plan to protect American jobs. Without people like West, what would Jon Stewart do for a living?

So Wasserman-Schultz criticizes the legislation, West takes it as a personal attack. How many miles can you get between those two concepts, especially for a public figure? Not enough evidently. It's good he's not fighting overseas anymore. It's hard to see how we let people like this into leadership positions, but in our zeal to hire someone to kill people, it's no surprise we inflict it upon ourselves occasionally. At least we let those who are getting killed here, choose to be executed, and by who's hand the deed is done.

I was pretty confident it'd be a race between my rep Renee Ellmers and my, sigh, ex-Army colleague Allen West for craziest of the 2010 midterm bunch. Ellmers has been a follower, staying relatively quiet since her Muslim-bashing of the election season, while West has been an over-talkative leader in the crazy department. What a buffoon. He once claimed he held a higher security clearance than the President. He has zero credibility on anything. And he has a stupid haircut, too.

I seriously think that West has some form of mental illness.
