Cheney Impeachment Watch

By and

Dennis Kucinich, Sally Quinn (well, sort of), and now former Reagan Justice Department official Bruce Fein--the chorus calling for the impeachment of Dick Cheney is getting louder. From Fein's brief:

In the end, President Bush regularly is unable to explain or defend the policies of his own administration, and that is because the heavy intellectual labor has been performed in the office of the vice president. Cheney is impeachable for his overweening power and his sneering contempt of the Constitution and the rule of law.

Of course, the only way this impeachment drive ever goes anywhere is if Congressional Democrats--I mean relevant Congressional Democrats, not just fringe figures like Kucinich--join the chorus. And right now, as this Boston Globe article makes clear, that's not happening.
