Too bad.  He stood up when he should have.  Let's hope he continues to take the tough stand on torture, FISA, SCHIP, and the rest.

He'd be the frontrunner right now if people had watched that great campaign video of him sitting on a plane, eating a snack, looking over a speech--I think he took a nap at one point?

Groundbreaking stuff, years ahead of it time. If only it had found an audience.

It is sad, but that video and the "Fugitives for Dodd"t hing are the first things that spring to mind whenever I think about him.  It sucks because I think he is principled and qualified (though he doesn't have my heart like Uncle Joe Biden).   The question, then, is did the Plank posion me?
