The filmmaker -- a 25-year-old woman of Lebanese ancestry -- wants to explain how this embarrassing practice is liberating and "progressive"! Yet another example of modern "feminism" converging with the fantasies of 13-year-old boys. I would have thought that the sight of a typical grouping of American soldiers or police officers -- which would include some number of women sans makeup -- would do much more to warm the cockles of a young feminist's heart than Qaddafi's rap video-style entourage.

The pic also tells me there might have been a great lost idea in Team America: World Police as the unit takes on the Libyan Virgin Guard in a deadly battle in the Ghaddafi-penis-shaped glass tower looking over the city of Tunis.
