The Essential Tom Coburn Reading List

John McCain is picking up Oklahoma Senator Tom Coburn's endorsement this morning. I never paid much attention to Coburn, until about a year ago when I read this excellent profile of him in GQ. If you're looking for an excuse to read a good political profile, well, Coburn's endorsement of McCain just gave you one.

This makes a lot of sense. Coburn is one of those "five dollars of pork and I vote 'no'" guys. He's also _very_ conservative, which gives McCain some cred on that front.
