Well, it's a thorny border to cross, that intersection of fabulous splendor and national welfare. You know, to want to conceal military intelligence at the same time one is coming out, and wants the world to know.

This is why establishing order and a stable economy in Afghanistan is so important.
As is well known, clandestine Afghan producers of wigs, makeup, and sensible black pumps up to size 17 are flooding Western markets from Soho in London to SoMa in San Francisco. Concerted efforts from coalition forces and NGOs will be needed to convert these Afghan suppliers to less deleterious crops, like opium poppies.
In addition, ongoing diplomacy and incentivization is needed to reach out to and co-opt some of the more notorious Afghan warlords, such as Dame Fifi Dostum, Miss Faheema-Ahmed Masud, Najib BoPeep, etc.
