Yo-Yo Ma performed with his Silk Road Ensemble at The New Republic's inaugural celebration earlier this year. We had a chance to catch up with Ma and some of his band mates, and asked how The Silk Road Ensemble has helped him serve the responsibilities of the UN Peace Messenger (a title Ma was given in 2006 by Kofi Annan).
