I'll be appearing at Politics and Prose this Sunday, October 14, at 5:00 to read from and discuss my book.
Update: It's 5:00, not 5:30 as I originally wrote.

Wow. I always forget that TNR writers, rather than existing in some parallel universe, actually inhabit the same city that I do. I'll try to be there.

I read Andrew Sullivan's "Virtually Normal" in one sitting there one night. That place is an institution (remember Ken Starr chasing down Monica's reading list from there?). Many buzzed first dates and many great books read...

You went on a first date to P&P? Where do I go to meet girls like you?

I'm trying to get a job in DC, but for now I'm stuck in KY. I doubt my few friends in DC will be able to go and take notes for me, but I might try to convince them.

I'll buy! Better yet, Jon can buy and put it on TNR's tab! Meanwhile, "Politics and Prose"? Is that like "Boiled Brussels Sprouts and Fudge"? "Colonoscopy and Deep French Kiss"? "Beijing Morning Commute and Private Tahiti Beach Stroll"? Etc.

Anyone know which Metro station P&P is near? I heard that Jenna Bush was there last Friday...

Tenleytown is the closest, jhunger. It's about a ten or 15 minute walk.

I might have to hit this up. Ratner is right that Tenletown is the closest Metro stop (Redline).
