When Arcade Fire Talks To President Bush

By

I realize I'm probably a little late to this hype parade, but since I once wrote a piece criticizing Conor Oberst for his incredibly lame protest songs, I thought I should point out when I hear a good one--and Arcade Fire's "Intervention" is certainly that. A video of the band's performance of the song at a Canadian high school is below; lyrics--or a rough translation of them--are here. If you've been living in a cave--or are over the age of 35--and haven't heard it, it's definitely worth a listen.
