You Dropped A Bomb On Me

This defies words. An Air Force lab in Ohio briefly attempted to develop a "gay bomb":
"The Ohio Air Force lab proposed that a bomb be developed that contained a chemical that would cause enemy soldiers to become gay, and to have their units break down because all their soldiers became irresistibly attractive to one another," Hammond said after reviewing the documents.
I think this gives a new context to Jon Chait's brilliant idea for Barack Obama's campaign theme song, "You Dropped a Bomb on Me." A second look at the video suggests The Gap Band may have actually been prophesying this Air Force development: Check out their sparkly camo pants!
