Romney’s latest effort to spin the rescue of America’s auto industry came on Satruday, when Eric Fehrnstrom, his top campaign strategist and longtime political adviser, was addressing a forum hosted by the Washington Post. Japanese automakers claimed the top five spots in Consumer Reports' annual Automaker Report Card, with Subaru and Mazda ranked first and second, scoring 75 and 74, respectively, on a 100-point scale.
