THE PLANK APRIL 26, 2007

Correction Of The Day

From The Washington Post:

The poem "Who Am I?" in the April 24 KidsPost was not written by the child who submitted it for a contest. Originally titled "The Statue of Liberty," it was written by J. Patrick Lewis and published in the book "Monumental Verses." The child said she did not realize that poems submitted to the contest had to be original.
