Maybe I've been oversensitized to Mel Gibson's misogynistic tendencies and general obsession with torture, but I find something troubling about the fact that the jaw-droppingly bad music video he directed for his girlfriend features her fictional lover hurling knives, circus-style, at the scantily clad singer (including a particularly nice shot at her eyeball).
I wonder if Mel's pet name for his new baby mama is Sugar Tits.

What would one expect from Mad Max? He once made a film about a dude with hair down to his shoulders who wore a dress down past his knees. Then like something you'd expect from Rob Zombie, he shot a horror flick with the dude beaten from head to toe, then nailed to a cross until he died.
As near as I can figure out, the only real difference between Rob and Mel is that Rob didn't pin the blame on Jews.

Ugh, what a terrible singing voice -- it sounds like she's sucking in air at the same time she's singing.
(But even as a liberal I still have to aver that Mel deserved the best-director Oscar for "Braveheart" even though I truly detested his "Watch Jesus Get the Shit Kicked Out of Him For 2 Hours".)
