Paris Hilton Walks

Finally, the excuse I've long awaited to mention Paris Hilton in a headline: It seems she's been released from prison after five days (for a 23-day sentence for driving with a suspended license) for a "health issue," and will finish her sentence wearing an electronic bracelet under home confinement.

Al Sharpton is already up in arms over this, and in this case I have to say the reverend is right. Special treatment for celebrities isn't just disgusting, it does real damage to the credibility of the justice system. I hope Paris gets booed everywhere she goes for the next few months....

P.S. Read the exciting official report from the LA County Sherriff's Department!
