Q: How do I subscribe to The New Republic?

A: Subscribe here to get The New Republic for 70% off the newsstand price. You can also sign up here for The New Republic daily, our free email newsletter. Finally, you can also subscribe by calling customer service at 1-800-827-1289.

Q: How do I sign into the iPad app?

A: To sign into the iPad app, enter the username and password associated with your subscription. For many subscribers, your username is the email address associated with your account. If you are repeatedly unable to log in to the iPad app, please contact us at tnrdigital@tnr.com

Q: How do I change my username?

A: To change your username, visit our homepage, sign into your account, and click on your username in blue text in the upper right. From the Settings page, you will be able to change your username.

Q: How do I set or change my password?

A: To change your password, visit our homepage, sign into your account, and click on your username in blue text in the upper right. From the Settings page, you will be able to change your username and password.

If you never initially set your password, please locate our confirmation email and click on the link in that message to complete this final step. You can also contact us at tnrdigital@tnr.com and we can manually reset your password.

Q: How do I manage my subscription, change my address, or review my account?

A: To manage the details of your New Republic subscriber account, visit our homepage, sign into your account, and click on your username in blue text in the upper right. From the Settings page, you can renew and upgrade your subscription, change your login information, change your print delivery address, and more.

Q: What happened to all the past issues I downloaded to my iPad?

A: Unfortunately, we are unable to make available any issues downloaded in the prior version of our iPad app. We are working to resolve this issue with Apple.

Q: Can I receive a PDF download of the current magazine?

A: To sign up to receive a PDF download of the current magazine, please contact tnrdigital@tnr.com and include your name and account number.

Q: Can I receive a PDF download of older, archived issues?

A: Due to copyright concerns, we no longer make PDF copies of older, archived issues available.

Q: How do I access the archives?

A: Archived articles can be accessed by clicking “Current Issue” and then “Access the Archives”.
